The Command and Control Centre for tracking Vehicle Location Tracking (VLT) devices through emergency panic buttons.
The centre is a joint venture of the transport department and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).

The centre passes the information onto the Emergency Response System Solution (ERSS) only if the gravity of the situation mandates police interference. C-DAC will provide a 24/7 service with the help of a team of 36 professionals, who will work across three shifts.
